Like me, I'm hoping the lack of posts on this site is due to working on Issue 7 and busy with life.
I just got a hot project so my time is 90% "hot project" and 10% SFMAN Issue 7.

also, I'm at a road-block in my adventure. if anyone is interested in helping me
finish it up we can submit it together.
drop me a line

let's not forget that the site only has a dozen members or so, w00t.  With that in mind, I think the site has a lot of content.  When the site goes public, I hope to (at minimum) double the amount of activity.  Hopefully more!!

Also keep in mind that the goal isn't to replace starfrontiers.org forums. As poorly updated as those forums are, people are still going to carry on much of their game discussions, as well as their PBP's over there (well as long as they can keep up with having their posts hijacked by discussions about the number of isotopes in a Frontier twinkie).

By the way, "Lack of site content" is the wrong name. This site is loaded with content. Just not much discussion going on. "Lack of site discussion" is more appropriate.

...hey...what's this stuck up my...ew.

Just got the email today about SFM7 coming out... which led me to see that this site was up and running. I suspect that more people will be showing up soon. ;)

I think FB has the right of it.  I have spotted seven new signups today, already, and it's only 1:16 PM here.  I think the site will take off just fine.

Thanks, it's a custom job.  I threw it together for a private gaming forum.  I wanted it to symbolize the GM's omnipotent power of life (creation) and death (bringing the smack-down.)  ;)

We could use talent like that for the Star Frontiersman.

Come be my GM on a Thursday night. Then you, me, and my .38 can discuss this then. Wink

(I kid. I don't own a .38...but I can get one Smile)

Well, as far as I know there is only one way to stop them...

Take a confident combat stance before them. With your left hand, wildly wave your recently pummled character (sheet) in the air. With your right, point accusingly and utter the 3 intergalatic words of power, "Klatuu, Bradda, Nikto!!"

If that doesn't work, you're probably about to get a first class ticket to the World of Hurt.

I submitted the new Zeb's map for Issue 6 and I've got some other stuff I'll shoot over once I get inspired to wrap them up.

I was thinking of doing an Alpha Dawn version of the map, since there are so many Zeb haters, but I'd need to know which map is the definitive one I should use for reference.

Other than the types of stars depicted in the systems, the Zeb's map is fairly definitive names-wise. They didn't have a name for the system Starmist was in, so they named it Sundown after the module. Other system names were also made up, but the worlds still exist per their names in Alpha Dawn literature. Thus, the only thing needing adjustment are the star types. Zebs completely ruined some perfectly good star systems. I mean who records an uninhabitable star system? Nobody, that's who. Alpha Dawn explained that there were stars between the mapped systems and that the Frontier was near the center of a spiral galaxy. Zeb's ignored that. Oh well. So yeah, just find out what the accurate star types are.

How ever in the area of a mining venture to the area or a place to hide, maybe. We had a good'ol time in the dead systems.
