Corjay (not verified) November 1, 2007 - 2:15pm | You have it. For some reason, it stopped working for me earlier while I was doing something over at the Gleemax boards. But then after a few moments it was working again. I use Firefox and cut & paste works just fine for me. |
Full Bleed November 1, 2007 - 2:40pm | I use Firefox and cut & paste works just fine for me. I'm being sent to this site to follow these steps to be able to use cut'n'paste: http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/securityprefs.html (I even had to type in that link! ;) Seems like a really roundabout way to have this functionality. It's obviously some kind of java issue that I've never run into before. Am I the only one? |
Corjay (not verified) November 1, 2007 - 2:45pm | Oh, I forget about the buttons, because I always use the keyboard commands. |
Rum Rogue November 1, 2007 - 5:15pm | I have the same issue with Firefox. Time flies when your having rum. Im a government employee, I dont goof-off. I constructively abuse my time. |
Corjay (not verified) November 1, 2007 - 5:35pm | By the way, I forgot to say that issues like this belong in the Support forum. We don't have thread moving ability here, so you'll have to set up the issue there. If it is there, Bill can take care of it from the list. |
Full Bleed November 1, 2007 - 7:00pm | Ah, so Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V work. Good to know. Hadn't really looked at the Support tab to find the "support forum." I'd only looked at the actual forums listed under general. |
CleanCutRogue November 1, 2007 - 7:26pm | Yes - there exists some kind of weird javascript issue involving copy/cut/paste when using the context menu (the right-click thing). Supposedly there's a work-around, but I just choose to do ctrl+c/ctrl+v or even shift+ins and shift+del 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time. |
Corjay (not verified) November 1, 2007 - 7:32pm | The link that Full Bleed gave seems to indicate that it's like that for security reasons. Firefox is all about security.
