Corjay (not verified) September 28, 2007 - 2:07am | I've always liked that Hyondow CBR-800RR. That's some really original design work there. I like the curved forks. |
Shadow Shack September 28, 2007 - 4:10am | Thanks, the 800 was also used for the shooter chicks...albeit with "standard forks" and a performance muffler. One of these days I'll have to whip up an electrical hovercycle instead of all these internal combustion dinosaurs LOL Or we could just call the exhaust "cooling vents". |
CleanCutRogue September 28, 2007 - 7:39am | These are really cool - I always liked the retro-meets-sci-fi feel of these images, they look and feel very star frontiers because of that. Do we want images in the forums or do we want 'em in the Documents section? So far we're doing both!! 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

Corjay (not verified) September 28, 2007 - 2:34pm | They should really be in the docuements section so that they're easily accessable. |
Shadow Shack October 2, 2007 - 7:07pm | These are really cool - I always liked the retro-meets-sci-fi feel of these images, they look and feel very star frontiers because of that. Thanks, I whipped these out based on my own personal experience on modern day terran ground cycles... Do we want images in the forums or do we want 'em in the Documents section? So far we're doing both!! My bad...I didn't see an upload option in the documents section so I posted them here. What's the procedure for uploading to the Doc section? |
CleanCutRogue October 2, 2007 - 7:23pm | No procedure. The doc section is like a public wiki. Go over to this project's Documents tab. You'll be taken to the top level of this project's documents. You can edit any document you see there, or create your own document page by clicking the icon that looks like this: . There, give your document page a name ("Shadow Shack's Hovercycles" or whatever) and start placing your images in the document just like you have here... that's all there is to it. All projects have Documents, but they can be used for anything you can think of... from static pages to galleries to actual works-in-progress for handbooks or stories or modules or whatever. Pretty versatile I think. The manager of that project (which incidentally is just the guy who created it over on the Projects tab) can set security rights for his project... in this particular project, all site members can edit documents. 3. Shadow Shack October 3, 2007 - 1:57am | Ah, got it. Forgive my computer illiteracy. It's all in the Doc section now, everything but the "Forever Three Hoverfans" logo since that uses a copyright protected image (the original TSR hovercycle map counter). Feel free to toss the first post here if need be, or should I just edit out the pics? |
CleanCutRogue October 3, 2007 - 4:11am | You don't seem computer-illiterate... it's just that this site is doing a few things new/different (hopefully not too complicated!!). You should be able to edit your original post and just make it a link to your document page :-) That would tidy things up quite nicely, eh? 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Shadow Shack October 3, 2007 - 6:57pm | Okay original post edited w/ link to document page |
Shadow Shack October 30, 2007 - 2:14am | I added one more hovercycle to the page (link in first post), an older rendition I did back in the day. Also uploaded some other vehicles: Explorers, Flitboard, & Hovertank |
