 February 4, 2023 - 10:23pm | I'm going to run this like the Zebulon's Guide Expanded project where the goal is to take everyone's imput and harmonize it into a whole if possible and with a goal to publishing something. That worked well in that project. I welcome your input and feed back. My ultimate goal is a published rule set like we published new content for the Zebs Guide project. I plan my own setting set in the same galaxy as the Frontier and a small distance from it that can be traveled with some difficulty. This setting will be a separate production of my own. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

February 5, 2023 - 9:15am | If I understand the CC correctly, new content can be created just no profit made, and of course credit and any changes noted for FS. I do think we need something people can really run with and 3rd party publish with to make a buck if they want, or do free. The Supreme Court ruled game mechanics can't be copyrighted, it's the language, unique species names and setting that are IP. So I think we start with breaking down mechanics. So FS and SF are d100 games, any other d100 games with mechanics of interest? "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |

 March 23, 2023 - 1:38pm | I am currently in day 82 of a #Dungeon23 writing project for another RPG. But, I am a lifelong fan of Star Frontiers and want to see this come to pass. So, as time permits - I will try to add this as a daily item in my #Dungeon23 plans and see if I can build up some things to contribute in. |

Same for DALL-E or Midjourney style artwork? I think the AI applications could be a powerful aid to this sort of thing but I also percieve that some people and companies are making noise agianst it. I think its too early to pick a side. I also think AI will win out in the end when too many people use it effectively and then everybody will have to use it to compete. so this is a mealy mouth yes and no answer but for myself I dont want to offed or to be the first. although we just used a ai art piece that someone supplied to me in the magazine so.... I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
