jedion357 January 2, 2019 - 6:23pm | 1. Quickdeath are a bio-engineered creature of the Worms. 2. Do they consider it a perfect design? 3. What other versions would they come up with? How about the Stealth Death with the camouflage blend capability of the first reboot movie of Jurasic Park? Able to blend in like a holo screen. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
jedion357 January 2, 2019 - 6:31pm | Snow death? Fur covered version. Have to think about the special defense should be. The lightning death smaller body and ultra fast speed pack tactics A huge version? I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
JCab747 February 14, 2019 - 10:00am | A Snow Death? That would be useful on the Planet Snowball (KH Module: The War Machine). These other attack monsters are probably based on other creatures than the Volturnus cat. Joe Cabadas |
jedion357 February 14, 2019 - 10:36am | Lightning death: smaller. faster, electrical shock like electric eel that it does "drive by" attacks with still has the poison dart. a small pack weakens the target before piling on. Anti-shock implants are called for when facing these. Snow death: about same size as quickdeath. adapted for cold more STA as it loses the laser immunity The Goliath Death: quickdeath on steroids not as fast moving and less interested in ambush. somebody get the heavy laser out. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
jedion357 February 21, 2019 - 10:08am | I was wondering how the standard quickdeath varies from the generic large carnivore stats in the average creatures tables Size: large carnivore Number: AC 1-5 vs QD 1-2 Move: AC Medium vs QD Very Fast (medium speed is 16 to 75m/turn with 60 considered average very fast is more than 105m/turn with 120m/turn considered average) IM/RS: AC 5/50 vs QD 8/75 Stamina: AC 75-200 vs QD 180 Attack: AC 65vs QD 70 Damage: AC 2@5d10 vs QD 6d10 bite, claws Special Attack: Poison dart S10/T3, RW 60 (10/20/30/40/50), attacks extra creature with maw 10 points of damage. Special Defense: Immune to needler weapons, 1/2 damage from laser and projectiles, 70% chance to remain unseen until within 120 meters. Note on speed I consider the average very fast speed of 120 to be the speed of the quickdeath since it can lay in ambush untill within 120 meters the implication of the hiding ability is that it can surprise attack.
