I was introduced to RPGs and Star Frontiers in 6th grade (circa 1996 or so). The school had offered after school activities and written on the board was a description I drooled over.
"Experience adventures in space"
'nuff said.
I was able to run through a lot of Volturnus before the year ended. I can recall a few more games after to finish the story. Our GM had adjusted the universe for his new players. I was very jealous.
After that I owned KH and copies of AD expanded rules. I played solo, due to moving I had few friends and never met another SF player.
After getting out of the Army in 2008 I have had 2 sons with my lovely (also Army veteran) wife. We live in Tucson now where we are both students and I am an entrepreneur. I started a small business in 2010 and have been working to grow it ever since. I have been happily scouring the internet for SF material and fell upon this gem here. I am hoping to get my children into SF, maybe play a run through Volturnus with them.
I have experienced PBeM. I did a run through Clark Valentine's Reciprocity years ago. If anyone knows of PBeM or PBP games message me , I would love to get into a game. Dying to exist in the Frontier again.
