I began playing Star Frontiers as teen in the eighties and have loved the game ever since. I am very excited that there is still a fan base and revival of this great RPG. One of the aspects of this game that I appreciated the most was the easy to learn un-complicated nature of the game system. You could gather some friends, go over the basic rules, generate characters and be off on a grand adventure in no time at all. I also liked the fact that the game was very open ended so you could easily create new material, rules, resources, house rules, etc. for your gaming group. I am working on opening a SF gaming group in my area of Phoenix Arizona and hope to contribute to the games revival as well.
