Description: Project to track the status and progress of upcoming issues of the Star Frontiersman magazine.

Search In Project

This project is intended as a compliment to the main Star Frontiersman project where we will provide status and progress of forthcoming issues of the Star Frontiersman magazine.  The goal is to provide transparency into the project organization, solicit input about, and recruit help for upcoming issues.

This project is primarily designed for those directly working on the magazine.  Viewing is open to anyone, you don't have to be a member to follow along on what is happening.  Just stop by occasionally to see what is happening.  If you request membership, you are volunteering to put in some real hours editing, formating, and/or testing articles or helping out in some way to get the magazine put together.  Expect to get tapped and to have deadlines attached.

Here's a quick link to the status page for the upcoming issue:  Issue 10 Status

Glad to see #9 came out! Very good articles. Good work everyone.

My only request would be if you could make the flavor border around each page lighter and smaller somehow. It takes up way too much ink when you print a page! IMHO top left and bottom right corner-borders would be enough. Shading of text boxes should also be dropped. ;)

Thanks for the input.  We're considering a redesign of the layout and we'll take those ideas into consideration.  I don't ever print it so I don't really think about ink usage.  Good point.
