Status: Unresolved

Add more detail to "access denied"

    Issue Number:
    160
    Severity:
    Minor
    Description:
Some projects in order to view its contents you have to be a member.
Someone posted a link to a project I'm not a member of, clicking on it resulted in "Access Denied".

I have no clue what project it is....

Consider printing a link to the Project Front Page. :-)

Once I'm in the Access Denied page, I don't know from where you were directed... unless I rely on server data using HTP_REFERER, which might work and might now depending on individual browser settings etc.  So to do this correctly, I'd have to find all cases where I refer to an access denied (some of which is built-in to Drupal, so hacks will be necessary) and modify the call to the access denied page to include post data or a query string or something... it's a lot more involved than you think :P

    Understood.
Since it's the ACL on projects you should be able to track it down, correct?

Oh yes - I'm not saying I can't - I'm just saying it's from like fifteen or more different places :P
