Anonymous October 5, 2007 - 10:31am | Refer to: Screenhots. Very clean and simple. I'm wondering how MR and ADF will work, does the user click the "final" hex he wants his ship in and direction? |
blackchip October 5, 2007 - 12:16pm | I was thinking of having a showing of the top/bottom range available for ADF. For example, if you have an ADF of 3 and your ship is currently moving 5 the top/bottom range would display "2/8". The first time you move, it would change to "1/7", etc. The low value would never go below zero. You could not end your turn until all ships have the low value for ADF at 0. When the value reaches "0/0" the move forward button would be disabled for that ship. MR would be similar, but just one value and you could end your turn with that number above zero. |
blackchip October 5, 2007 - 12:17pm | Comment system is acting up. Values should read: "2/8" "1/7" "0/0" |

CleanCutRogue October 7, 2007 - 6:47pm | Maybe you're not a programmer, Corjay, but you're quite artisitc. Helping out with graphics and layout and such would be right up your alley. I wouldn't be able to contribute much to this, as I'm not very Technically inclined, but I'm all for it. I look forward to seeing it completed. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. blackchip October 7, 2007 - 11:03pm | Being excessively left-brained, which may explain why I list to the left when walking, I have no artistic talent. I will greatly appreciate any contributions from the more artistic types. For example, all the icons I'm using for the UI are either scanned SF images or licensed under the Creative Commons. This is fine so far, but the images do not necessarily match well. |
