jedion357 March 21, 2017 - 6:27am | Like Hepplewhite? Why? Was someone at TSR into antique tables? Was there a Hepplewhite table present in the offices? Did the writer working up the sample adventure score a Hepplewhite table at a yard sale for $20? Side note: when Marshal Applewhite and his heaven's Gate group were making their Ascension to the UFO following in the tail of the Hale-Bopp comet and were making headlines in 1997. I immediately thought of Star Frontiers misremembering the ships name. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

Ok someone likeD the name Hepplewhite- building off of that: Hepplewhite furniture was part of the Federal period but made in England, So lets suppose the HUman named White that as has been supposed in other threads to have been 1/2 of a Yazirian/human owned company was from Clarion which is certainly inspired by Great Britian. Robert Adam is credited with creating the Hepplewhite style so his name in whole or part could be raided for names in the Hepplewhite crash. Alice Hepplewhite is another name that turned up. Federalists being an overarching style and a effort by the American states to develope their own distinct style could suggest a connection to the "federal" (but not so federal) government of the UPF; ie the Council of Worlds. What if the Yazirian Hepple and the Human White were actually operatives of the an element in the non federal UPF treaty organization?
