Tollon December 4, 2015 - 7:28pm | http://www.lostintoys.com/museum/goldkey.html I saw this on a facebook page. I started reading the descriptions on each comic book and thought there were plenty of animal encounters here. I'd stay away from the Time travel element. We don't was SF to become ST. :) |
Tchklinxa December 4, 2015 - 9:44pm | Time Travel hurts the head, yes let us stay away. But monsters and weird tech yippee! "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tollon December 4, 2015 - 11:55pm | I wish I had all the comics to see how it played out... :(
|
Tchklinxa December 5, 2015 - 8:59am | That is what I was think too, I also wish I had the Weird Science comics for the same reason. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tchklinxa December 5, 2015 - 9:09am | This guy has a great site for GW ideas, his writting makes me chuckle, it is worth poking around. His Scooby-do-omsday this year was a hoot, he made the "monsters" into GW mutant monsters, lets face it a talking dog equals mutant. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tollon December 6, 2015 - 6:43am | http://comicreadinglibrary.blogspot.com/2010/08/space-family-robinson-2.html I found this doing a goggle search. It one complete comic book. |
Tchklinxa December 6, 2015 - 7:58am | Cool "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tchklinxa December 6, 2015 - 8:34pm | I love these monsters! They remind me of Siamese Fighting Fish and Fancy Goldfish with tentacles and Pirana teeth! They also appear to be creatures that float, swim through a different atmosphere. Awesome concept. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tchklinxa December 6, 2015 - 8:36pm | Vrusk? "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tchklinxa December 6, 2015 - 8:39pm | Love these eye-ball plant monsters too! "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tchklinxa December 6, 2015 - 8:47pm | A Mok riding an Equort.... I always liked the concept of the Equort (Reptile/Horse creature). "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tollon December 7, 2015 - 2:33am | I liked both the Mok and Equort. I made the Equorts in Antaran Horses. They are more reptilian in the face and don't have the beak. There mane is a sail (don't know the name of it on dino's) that runs to the base of the neck. Their tails are broad but narrow quickly.
|
Tchklinxa December 7, 2015 - 5:44am | I was thinking I should do some stats up on the Equorts as I like thems. Mane should be a sail like you thought too I agree. The tail I always felt retained fat & water to help make the critter super tough. They struck me as a hardy sort of critter in the cartoon, very strong too. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tollon December 8, 2015 - 7:22pm | http://www.deviantart.com/art/Ookla-s-Equort-355723622 I tend to like this one because it's more factual than the cartoon verison. http://www.deviantart.com/art/An-Equort-91118081 |
Tchklinxa December 9, 2015 - 10:56am | Those are nice... I think Dino-horse when I see the original, (beaked dino head on general horse body type with sail mane & a thick tail for reserves of water & fat). The first image is nice but more horse like than dino like I think. Though the mane could be more spine like in that version. Both appeal to me. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tollon December 11, 2015 - 4:44am | Th concept of it being a real animal is there in the first picture. Yes, it appears more horse like, but you came see it as being possible. The horns now have a real function. It allows the Equort to defend itself. You can see the horns as part of a mating ritual as well. From looking a dino pictures, it's clear the artist in the first Picture slimmed down a tricatops and removed the armor cowl from it head. Then, went all my little pony on it :) |
