SF at Gary Con 2014

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to make it to Gary Con, so I didn't register for any events.

After visiting the vendor area, I searched around for an empty seat to join a game.  To my delight, I saw a table with several Star Frontiers rulebooks laying on it, along with empty seats.

I ended up getting to play a nice Star Frontiers scenerio.

A huge bonus was that Larry Elmor was there.  I got to talk to him a while and I picked up a Complete Elmore book (signed) and a print of the Star Frontiers Box set picture (as pictured in the banner above).  I've always loved that pic.  Now I have a signed, personalized print of it.

If you've never met Elmore, he is a great guy and lives in a small city where my Dad grew up.

Sounds like you have a great time.  Who ran the SF game you played in?

I have the book and the print as well (I backed the book on Kickstarter)  I don't think my book is signed but got a lot of extra prints.  My print of the SF cover is signed (twice!) by Larry.  That was a present from my wife for my birthday a few years back.  It's hanging here in my office.  I'd just like to get a matching one of the painting that is on the cover of the KH box.

Is the KH artwork tougher to find, and if so for any reason? I only ask as I've seen the AD artwork available at various sites & eBay etc but I hardly ever see the KH art available.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

Larry made a print available for the AD cover, you can buy it on his website (That's where my wife got mine).  That's why you see it everywhere.  He's never done one for the KH cover, however.  Although he appears to have gels of the image from which to make a print as he got it into his complete Elmore book. But maybe it's not of high enough quality to make a print.

If I make it to his studio later this year, I will ask him about the KH cover.  Then I'll share the response here.
