iggy August 22, 2013 - 9:49pm | I like this. I have often contemplated makeing something like this. I'm busy figuring your sheet out. So far I am playing with engine types. However, I can only get a ship cost with atomic engine types. The others put the cost as #Value in Design Calculator cell E2. I traced through things and it comes from the else clause of " " in Design Calculator cell C7. I also noticed a typo in Engines L5, you spelled Ion as Ionl in the start of the equation. I'm guessing you were copying down from E4 and the changed chemical to Ion but missed deleting l. I also wonder if we could change things to use selection lists. That way we would not have to know what exactly to type in each cell. I did this for some stuff at work but I will have to get a copy of the worksheet and see how I did it again. I realy like this. It will be very tempting to play with this when I am supposed to be working. -iggy |
samcurry September 10, 2013 - 4:59am | Thanks Iggy! You're right, and I think I fixed it in this version. The problem was in the cost for pellets -- if it's not Atomic, it throws out the error. I also changed a HS error for atmostpheric entry -- I had it allowed for 3 or less but it should have been 5 or less. And I too have to avoid the distractions from work! Sam Curry |
