jedion357 January 22, 2013 - 5:40am | Work Works is putting out some interesting sci fi stuff: Sector Sigma has some mechs (4) with lots of arm options, cargo containers and barrels http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?view=product&product=224 Plus a whole wild west line now that I had not seen. I would use the Dead mans Canyon product for alien landscape. There is a hover car download with 44 color schemes based on the base model for a wopping $2.50 http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?view=product&product=172 Found this rather random page by a guy named Fitz http://www.mojobob.com/roleplay/props/buildings.html Various building for wargaming and role play with miniatures in various scales (read the descriptions) I would use stuff like the wooden barn on an out post world. Got to say that the World Works stuff is very interesting though. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
Ascent January 22, 2013 - 8:59am | Ahem: WorldWorks. :P The look is a little too rusty for my tastes. It's good to represent most dilapidation, but not for the typical cityscape. Karxan January 22, 2013 - 11:03pm | This web site has a lot of cool paper models. http://www.davesgames.net/ They have a few free ones to try out too. Tom V has already listed some great sites on another thread. Because of his article in SFman about WorldWorksGames I bought the Mars Station model for use with a few things I like to play. I also found this, http://www.battlesystems.co.uk/. It is a little more involved paper modeling, but it is a fantastic set you can use for lots of Sci-fi action with miniatures. |
Ascent January 23, 2013 - 9:09am | Okay, now that Battle Systems one is perfect for Star Frontiers. That is ultra awesome stuff. Take a look at the Gallery. They're constructed by the panel. Perfect.
