 January 8, 2013 - 5:18am | Critique here: ears look pasted on like they are not quite where they should be. the ship in the background look tantalizingly cool which is probably becuase some of its hidden therefore it intrigues. Planet is beautiful. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
 January 8, 2013 - 4:53pm | I suppose if you were a human actor trying to look like an alien but really a human your ears would be in the right place for a human if you were being critiqued by another human. But if you're an image of a humanoid alien you might have things appearing a little alien to a human. |
January 8, 2013 - 4:57pm | btw, top of the cheek bone is in line with the ear hole so the human phisiology is actually acurate but the earlobe is severly changed and peaked with animal like features to make it look alien. Could have gone completely with the vulcan/romulan look but the point of S&S 2E is that it is trekish but not trek. |
January 8, 2013 - 5:55pm | From a human audience perspective there are two thoughts that go through my mind when I look at this pic- ear looks funny and WOW the background is gorgeous. It is probably the angle and turn of the head that makes the ears see wrong in some way. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
