jedion357 December 7, 2012 - 9:15pm | I was thinking on the fact that today is Pearl Harbor day and what that means to me as an American. Eventually, my thouhgts wandered over to the Frontier. If the attack on Pearl Harbor was a day of infamy and 3,000 died then what was the day the Sathar attacked? Consider the eorna- not 3000 but their whole civilization was wiped out leaving an insufficent gene pool for the species to carry on. No wonder the eorna call the day the sathar attacked the "Day of Doom" What would the citizens of the Frontier call the Day the Sathar attack? I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
bossmoss December 8, 2012 - 7:29pm | Is there a name for it in any of the core material? Not sure, but it seems like I saw it somewhere. Zebulon's maybe? |
jedion357 December 9, 2012 - 6:14am | I think the only name out there is the Day of Doom for the eorna but I could have missed something. I'm betting that Pale has a special observance and memorials everywhere as well as a slew of heroes from the resistence, and streets, squares, and public schools named after those heroes. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
TerlObar December 9, 2012 - 9:27am | And remember that given the lifespan of the races, many if not most of the surviving heros are still alive if your setting is anywhere near the second sathar war time period.
