In a setting with mentalism and the Clear Thinker's Cadre:

as well as the Free Thinkers cadre

and greedy mega corps as well as hazy government institutions the game is ripe for an adventure based on the Drew Barrymore, George C Scott movie Fire Starter, complete with the "shop" and LOT-6

I would however say that its sort of individualistic and I would reserve it for a beginning solo adventure for a mentalist or enlightened character. Sets up the character with a secret and on the run and would be good for role play IMO.

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

due to fears of mind control robots might be used extensively in a facility run by the shop. Computers would track and log everything and there would be plenty of recording devices. I suppose you could run this as an adventrue for multiple psionic characters who have to cooperate to escape.

An NPC pre-cog might warn the other mentalist that the Clear Thinkers have a strike team planning to hit the facility in a day and kill all the mentalist- this sets things into motion. Game background is simple- you are all gifted individuals living at the institute- most of you have been here since you were very young- separated from your parents or some landed here about the time puberty hit and certain powers manifested themselves.

The NPC Pre-Cog could be a great referee tool to help steer the adventrue.

Pre-cog is always a dangerous ability since it can take away from the players free will. On the other hand palyers can abuse it by wanting to know what will happen before they open any door. Any pre-cog must be tightly limited.
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?

she's blind, insane and bleeds out her nose when she uses the ability like the father did in fire starter (call it -5 STA/ use) and she's a NPC- hows that for limitations.

Sound like a good plot for an adventure. This I think would be best as a group of young ones, teenagers the best choice. Have maybe one adult npc who tags along with them for guidance, like your crazy pre-cog. This would be fun to play.
