Yeah I did further search on the net too, no I meant in film but if I found out an air show was going to be within travel distance and the plane was going to be there I'd make a big deal about taking the kids to it and go.I was just curious to see what it was suppose to look like. I also found pictures of that 747 that was turned into a resturant and how cool would it be to pick out an old bone yard bird and park it in the back yard for the kids to play on- not a 747 but something with two seats- nothing really needs to work on it just the canopy/door and the joystick. July 27, 2012 - 5:24pm | When I was in the Air Force, There was a C-141 that had had an accident. They had removed the wings and tail and turned it into a loadmaster training plane. Basically a plane they could practice loading without having to worry about damaging before a flight. This all happened before I went in. I guess the year before I got to that base, some commander decided that it would make a good reunion place for one of the old AF squadrons, so the cleaned it up on the inside and put in a portable bar and tabels and such. I never saw any pictures, it was on the downlow, but it sounded pretty cool. I actually change tires on it a couple of times. But I have thought the same thing about turning a C5 galaxy into a resturaunt. It is bigger than a 747 and would be awesome for a two level or even 3 level resturaunt. You could even have a bar in the upper troop compartment totally seperate from the eating area, it just would be hard for the more lit people to get down the stairs. |

Cold bath at the bottom is good as long as there is no delay in getting said drunk to the evacuation slide begore the evacuate the contents of their stomache.I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
July 28, 2012 - 10:49pm | It has been suggested by a coworker of mine to fill the cold bath with ice and put the persons keys in the bottom of the ice pool. Then once they have their keys, they are free to go. |
July 29, 2012 - 5:29am | Add salt to the ice. Salt water has a lower freezing point than clean water so you can get it much colder. Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |
