jedion357 December 30, 2011 - 10:24am | Dralasites have an ability to take in air, compress it, and allow it to escape under pressure- no smell but an amazingly inappropriate ability to make noise. Amusing to most dralasite and immature humans. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
jedion357 December 30, 2011 - 10:30am | Yazirians have a high likelihood (call it 75-85%) that what ever they are gripping when they die will remain tightly gripped in death. So when a Yaz tells you that you can have his weapon when you pry it from his cold dead fingers, he means it, literally. Grip is so strong that it requires a STR check. If you have a choice in combat of trying to snatch up a weapon from one of two corpses don't make the yazirian corpse your first choice. Also if locked in a grapple with a yazirian and each of you have your hands locked on the other's throat, even if you win you may lose. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
iggy December 30, 2011 - 5:17pm | Vrusk have a latent natural ability to detect the slope/tilt of a surface and estimate how far up or down from ground level they are. This ability is legacy from their ancestral hive life and modern vrusk must receive training to use this ability. The training can only be done by a vrusk instructor and takes one week of on-site exercises with the instructor. The cost is one experience point for full skill ability. The financial cost is typically 120Cr. Once trained the vrusk uses his intuition score for this ability check -iggy |
