 December 4, 2011 - 8:29am | The seeds of civil war were sown in the autocratic control exerted by the Family of One as the yazirian species resettled in the Frontier. Clan Anglaan, which controlled the Family of One, attempted to become an imperial power as it realized that three other species co-habitated this parsec of space. Since it contolled the terraforming operations on the new yazirian colonies these colonies had to largely fall into line with the Family of One's wishes. For decades no one colony could openly break with the Family of One/Clan Anglaan which were synonomous with the government of Hentz and the mega corp GODco. Interaction with the other space faring species lead to relaxed changes in yazirian societies everywhere but on Hentz. As the divide between Hentz and the other yazirian colonies widened the chiefs of Clan Anglaan became more strident and hard line concerning adherence to their brand of culture. Armed conflict was inevitable. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
December 4, 2011 - 8:33am | General theme will be Yast, Athor system being the first colony to take a stand against the Family of One. Hargut, Guna Garu system will initially support Hentz while Hakosar, Scree Fron system will want to support Yast but the decision to do so will take time. IIRC Yast has no militia while Hentz does so that Yast is on the defensive in the beginning. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
