It can be used to medically repair damaged tissue, construct bio-mechanical devices, or even to deliver medicines or mutanagenic compounds. These virus like constructs are programable and can even bind together to create new tissues, organs, and the exact limits are not entirely known or understood. The only known limitation to the nanogens is that they cannot restore already dead cells / tissues or spontaneously create new life.
