 January 4, 2011 - 8:23am | I just wanted to mention that Deryn_Rys has a project Star Frontiers (URS) that is based on d20. I believe he is converting some of it to classical SF - would be a great idea to document how to convert between AD<>d20. |
 January 4, 2011 - 10:20am | Well the first thing that I have to say is that any of you interested in what I've come up with in my conversion feel free to join my project. Version 4.5 of my rules adaptation should be coming soon. I'm trying not to use this project to mine for ideas for my own project, but I am more than happy to help and discuss your ideas and what I came up with in my own conversions. There is a lot of differences I found with what is being discussed here and what I did, so both these projects will be unique entities, which is great because variety is the spice of life or so they say. As the rules revision winds down in my project and I can start working on newer things, I promise that I'll be able to contribute more ideas and time to this project, but I'll still be lurking here and putting my 2 credits worth on the forums here and in the other projects I'm a part of. January 5, 2011 - 6:31pm | Not to take anything away from this Project, but I would invite anyone interested in making a D20 conversion to come over and look at the Star Frontiers (URS) project, and maybe you'll find something there that might spark some ideas or give you an alternative to a problem you have been having here. As I've said before I have been a DM/referee/etc for a very long time and have been tweaking my games for almost as long. I'm more than happy to discuss or make suggestions about anything in the hope of making our games better. The only thing is that I'm kinda long winded at times, and am prone to rambling so you'll have to bear with me.
