CleanCutRogue August 19, 2007 - 10:19am | I reference the project frontpage, forum, and top-level document via name. I'll have to create a utility that renames not just the front page but also these other items. It's currently dangerous and site-damaging to rename one without the others being identically-named. If I started the site all over again from scratch, I'd have done it differently (would have created a table of referred nodes within my sql database) but it's too late now. I currently refer to associated components by name. I can give you this feature, but it'll take a little bit of time. If I can't create such a utility without leaving a potential for disassociation, I'll leave it up to site referees. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

CleanCutRogue August 19, 2007 - 11:57am | Okay - I have a new field at the top of your project page edit form, called "Rename Project" -- if you put something there and hit "Submit" it'll rename the project's front page, associated top-level document container, and associated top-level project forum. I've tested it and it seems pretty safe. I'll do some extended testing of this to make sure it doesn't break anything. Only thing I worry about is: if you edit the name of the project while others are viewing an element of that project, a few of their links might get screwed up and they might get an Invalid Page error, but once their age re-freshes, all will be well. I recommend alerting all members (using the Project Announcement feature) about the impending change, then doing it. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
