I'm putting together a list of vehicle equipment and would like your help. Here is what I have so far, the text needs to be cleaned up - its just a rough draft.

Security package
Cost: 850 CR
This package includes a siren, strobe lights, searchlight, one-way doors, sealed cabin and short range communications system.

Jammer
Cost: 1,500 x VC
At the time of installation chose one of the following; radio-frequency, infra-red, sonar, radar or ladar. Each type is purchased separately. The jammer effectively masks the vehicle from detection for that type of detection equipment. The field only covers the vehicle. A projection modulator can be purchased that doubles the field allowing the jammer to cover an area which may include other vehicles.

ECM
Cost: 5,500 x VC

A series of jammers, chaff dispensers, and electronic intercept, capture, reprocessing gear designed to confound enemy sensors.

Communication Jammer
Cost: 4,500 CR
Often called a ComJammer this device focusing an energy projection on one target vehicle effectively cutting off that vehicle's ability to communicate or scan. The effective distance is 100 meters. For each 10 meters beyond the range there is a 10% chance the jamming will fail.

Long Range Communications Package
Cost: 525 CR
This package boosts a vehicle communications limitation by 10 times. It also includes a direction laser and satellite uplink system that interfaces with planetary communications.

Sensor System
Cost: 1,000 CR
At the time of installation chose one of the following; radio-frequency, infra-red, sonar, radar or ladar. Each type is purchased separately. Sensors are used to detect the surrounding area up to 100 meters. For each 100 meters (up to 1,000 meters) the cost is 100 CR.

Motion Tracker
Cost: 450 CR
Sonar combined with passive air-density sensors will locate unseen adversaries in fog, or thick covering.

Ejection Cockpit
Cost: 1,200 x crew
Typically installed at the time of vehicle purchase the cockpit area is lined with charges that explode during an emergency causing it to separate from the vehicle. During separation durafoam fills the cockpit securing the occupants from harm. A simple thruster system allows the cockpit to land safely. After a few minutes the foam hardens and is easily removed by the occupants.

After Burner
Cost: 350 x VC
A series of plasma injectors which give momentary boosts of extreme thrust. There are 10 boosts that will double the acceleration rate of the vehicle. If the boost is used while at top speed the vehicle will gain an additional 100 kph for 5 turns.  A plasma canister of 10 boosts cost 100 credits x VC. For each boost there is a 10% chance the plasma will fail to ignite. On a roll of 96-00 the after burner is damage and must be replaced.

Passive Sensor Suite
Cost: 5,000 CR
An array of multispectral telescopic cameras and radio-frequency receptors use to sample and analyze EM spectrum emissions.

Escape Pod
Cost: 15,000
Holds 2 beings, each being is considered 1 CU, add 2 more CU for hardware

Sidecar
Cost: 1,200
This small car attaches to the side of a cycle and is used for carrying a passenger.

You forgot the all important stereo system. Can't drive any where without music. Laughing

Nap of the Earth (NOE) flight System
Cost: 10,000
This Add on is a ducted flight system that allows a limited form of flight. The downward facing fan like ducts create enough lift for the craft to clear the ground by several meters. Rockets accompanying this install act as maneuvering thrusters and allow periodic "jumps" to clear taller obstacles.

@Sargonarhes - no game effect but you can add 25-50% of the cost of the vehicle to give it a "luxury" package. Impress your peers, dazzle NPC's!

@jacobsar - NOEFS! How high can a vehicle jump given the size based on the article in #15?
Examples;
VC1 15 meters
VC2 12 meters

Well here is a feature you'd find on vehicles like an explorer, and it exists on military hummers. You can adjust the tire presure from inside the vehicle. In SF they'd probably have moved beyond air filled tires but the tire can effect your traction as well as the mileage you can get. Sure you can drive on that flat but how long will your parabattery last? Of course if you want traction you're going to want a softer tire for more grip.
