Inigo Montoya February 21, 2010 - 6:12pm | I just watched the Gibson movie, The Edge of Darkness last night. I know it isn't an original concept, but I enjoy games where the characters come to the nasty realization that they are actually the bad guys. That is of course assuming that they aren't intentionally playing bad guys. The other thought that hit me last night was that it would be cool if many of these adventures in the mag had a common thread. Maybe a series of adventures pitting the pc's against some mysterious nemesis. |

Speaking of which the Mining ship serial is charging along nicely though Forbidden Moon has stagnated (bit of a choice made there on that) but in the mining ship series since it's styled after SFKH-0 its a collection of 5 short quick encounters. I sort of fell backwards into the re-accuring nemesis with this one as the antagonist has direct or indirect roles in all five encounters. By the time I was writing the 3 encounter I was saying boy this guy is a nasty jerk, and I as a GM and the creater of the NPC want to see him get his.In particular he uses legal provisions in the law to duck out of a combat and pin official heat on the PCs I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
