 August 15, 2007 - 12:49pm | What if I made a page for each project called "What's new" just like there's a "Members" and "Documents" page... and this new page will list all the new material local to that project... such as documents, forum posts, user membership, downloads, etc. Would that be enough? August 16, 2007 - 12:38am | Okay - it took a few hours but I've added a "What's New" section on the front page of each project to which you're a member, showing what content is new since you've last been online. They stay in the list until visited. Additionally, you can see a one-stop shopping list of what's new in all your projects by clicking on the "What's New" link in the left side-bar's Navigation menu. If I would have had email notification instead, I'd have received around 30 emails today with all the content you're adding, Corjay! Do these two additions help resolve this issue sufficiently? 3. August 16, 2007 - 1:18pm | Yes, it looks great. I take it the What's New Section only shows up in a Project when there's something new to report, instead of being standard whether there's something to report or not. If so, then it's doing its job very well. I like it. |
