My (limited) miniature work

I dug this out tonight and snapped a few pics with the new digi-cam when a "plastic modeling" thread erupted in one of the motorcycle forums I frequent, thought I'd post it here since it's relevant.

I did this stuff back in the late 1980s/early 1990s and pretty much haven't touched the hobby since. My miniatures collection consists of two boxes of Star Wars minis (of which 1.6 are depicted here), two SF/KH box sets (UPF and Sathar/Pirate ships), and two D&D sets (Adventurers and Dragon Lair). If I manage to uneartht he latter four I'll snap pics and post here.

But for now, here's part of what used to be my "Stop that ship, BLAST THEM!" diorama, elegantly recreated on my kitchen countertop.

My son wanted me to type the following;
Stormtropper One: "Did you see that spaceship, it looks like a cool spaceship."
Stormtropper Two: "But did I see a shadow coming from it?"
Stormtropper One: "I think that was two or three or four."
Stormtropper Two: "We better let our guys know there are shadows coming."
Stormtropper One: "Ahhhhhhhh! I'm so scared I want my Mommy."
Stormtropper Two: "Don't be afraid because I thought you were afraid of spiders. I'm running away froever."

The good guys wear white. Great Storm Trooper minis. Smile

The only time I played Star Wars D6, I got to be an Imperial Storm Trooper. We sterilized a whole planet. It was great.
