In the future we will be combining the Star Frontiersman with FrontierSpace(TM). There will be more "meat" to each webzine and you should be able to easy convert stats and tech between the two.

@Woot: Didn't want to hijack your thread, so I started a new one.

If the SFMAN is now going to be covering the FrontierSpace(TM) RPG, is there a way we can acquire a copy of that RPG?

I usually find that it is better to have at least looked at a set of game rules before commenting on them. Smile

A little background;
FS has its own development site, here is a snip of the Statement of Purpose.

"This site is devoted to development of a new paper & pencil role-playing game. Inspired by fond memories of games such as Top Secret/S.I., Star Frontiers, Gamma World, Marvel Super Heroes, Traveller, and many more... this will be a game that all ages will enjoy. "

FS is *very* closely related to Star Frontiers in that stats should be able to be easily converted from one to another. That is good news for the webzine. Two RPG's = more goodness.

Bill and I have the Player's Handbook almost ready for the first draft. The Core rules are pretty much established and we'll be starting on that book soon. (right now it a just a bunch of down-loadable design documents)

The Star System Generator that was developed for FrontierSpace found here;
http://starfrontiers.us/node/946 will also work for Star Frontiers.

Hope that helps!

No, it doesn't, LOL.....

Next after the PH will be the Core Settings book, I think.

pineappleleader, go to the FS site and look around. The rules developed to date are posted in the downloads section. However, w00t and CCR are adding a bunch of stuff behind the scenes at the moment while they compile a complete working core document.

Ascent is correct.
Bill and I are working behind the scenes on the PHB. A lot of it is descrbing gear, vehciles, skills and doing the PHB layout (Bill is doing that 100%). Still need the combat section done and probally space ships. SO MUCH TO DO !

I'm finishing up the psioncs chapter which I believe will be in the PHB.... I think.

We have the Creatures, Star Systems, Vehcile creation, Robot creation pretty much done for the Ref Book.

Still working on the Astra Incognita setting which will be a seperate section from the core rules.

I am excited to see what you did with the Psi material.  Did you use any of the material I wrote, or did you start over from scratch?  Any chance for a preview?
