 January 15, 2009 - 2:03pm | I paid for the Dundjini software and all the art packs a few years ago. and while I continue to use it I have some reservations about it. (I paid money & I know my way around the software so....) 1. They do maintain some forums and answer questions but it doesn't seem to me that they're very active about expanding their product other than updating it to keep it working with newer editions of Java and even then I've had to un-install the lastest version of java and load an older version to keep the software working right. 2. you can only create on an 8 x11 pallete in standard config and there is no way to switch to landscape. 3. There art is kind of limited and you have to go out on the net and copy stuff from everywhere. Some nice things You can take regular photographs and create art files with them to stamp actual pictures into a project. I've spent tons of time arranging my art folders and unistalling and reinstalling and dealing with java issues so I can only recommend this software with some reservations. It may be that someone else has newer shinier, latest and greatest mapping software out right now.
