Is this the old star frontiers from the 1980's?

I played this when I was a kid and wanted to play it again.  I found your site, but, and sorry for this, there is another start frontiers site also.  Is this the same game from the 80's?  What is "remastered"?  Is this a different game from the other site (http://starfrontiers.com/)?

Thank you.

Hi Johnny.

The remastered project is devoted to creating newly formatted, artistically pleasing downloadable PDF files from the previously-published Star Frontiers books circa 1980's. You can get a copy here;

http://starfrontiersman.com/downloads/remastered

http://starfrontiers.com/rules has the original scans and all the published SF Dragon articles.

:-)

Think of what George Lucas did to the old Star Wars movies. He fixed a few problems, cleaned up the product, etc. Same thing has been done here.

Yep, same great product, exciting new wrapper.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out
