    Background

    Haigh spent his life growing up underground, in a science base in an undisclosed astroid belt. His parents were both UPF scientists. Having a decent education and bored with his parents careers he enlisted in the UPF marine corps as soon as he graduated studies. He fought as a boarding assault trooper with the 66th Stealth team as a demolitions expert. His team specialized in covert attachment and demo of Sathar ship engines so the navy could recover Sathar tech. In the six years of service he saw the insides of three sathar frigates before the war was over and had twenty conformed kills. He disdains lasers, and prefers projectiles and gyrojets over anything else. "If I have to fire at sumthin I'm puttin it down, why go about sumthin half assed?" Is one of his favorite sayings. Haigh is a straightforward and honest man. An avid reader of history and fantasy mags hes as much of a hero as the stories he reads. He keeps a picture of his girl in a holocron he takes with him everywhere. He is currently studying for his pilots exam with hypnoclasses. Hopefully it will improve his chances of joining the frontier scouts and he'll be back in the action soon. Hes dreaming of making a big score and homesteading on one of the frontier worlds.
