Gunnery Skills

I really don't get why you need to have a level 5 projectile weapons skill to get a level 1 rocket gunnery skill. How is firing a Auto Rifle going to help you shoot huge torpedoes or lay mines etc.  I think that players should either have to have to have a level 6 gyro-jet weapons or a level 5 gyro-jet and level 4 demolitions skill.  Slightly off topic: couldn't intercept missiles be aimed by a gunner for more affect?

There has been discussion about PC skills -vs- Starship skills in other threads, FYI.

I would say yes, 5% to 10% addition to the roll.
