    Background

The only child of working-class parents in Clarion's capital of Valentina, Rhanda joined the Royal Marines as a 16-year old midshipman.

Assigned to the assault scout Osprey, Rhanda distinguished herself in several engagements with smugglers and pirates, rising to the rank of Junior Lieutenant, assigned to be both the Osprey's astrogator and her gunnery officer.

During the Snowball War, she proved herself a vital member of the ship's company, receiving the Order of Morgaine for her actions, promoted to the position of executive officer, a position in which she served with distinction throughout the Second Sathar War.

The Royal Marines, in 75 f.y., promoted the 21-year old Rhanda to command of the Liberty-class Nightengale, something which only served to further anger her commanding officer, the traitor Maxxer Tabbe.

Before she was to assume command, however, Tabbe betrayed the Crown, helping Streel and Sathar soldiers murder most of the ship's crew, while capturing Rhanda and turning her over to Samson Streel himself.

While in captivity, she suffered unspeakable brutality at Streel's hands, until the capture of Streel's freighter by the gunship Albatross. Hospitalized for her injuries, Rhanda refused to undergo therapy for the trauma she suffered, nor was there any time, as the Juggernaut Fleets sent the entire Frontier into chaos, Rhanda being forced to take command of the rebuilt Nightengale, as part of Gregor Dentin's task force detailled to destroying a Juggernaut Fleet and New Frontier task force sent to take Clarion.

During the subsequent Second Battle of White Light, Rhanda singlehandedly destroyed the Leviathan-class dreadnaught Titanic, along with several enemy destroyers, this action, along with the sacrifice of Gregor Dentin and his flagship, the cruiser Gryphon, in the process of their destroying the Juggernaut, being instrumental in the ultimate Royal Marine victory.

Now a captain in the Star Forces, Rhanda and the crew of the Nightengale are part of the resurrected Patrol Squadron 109.

For her part in that battle, Rhanda became the youngest being in the history of the Crown to be created a Lord Champion of Sinclair.

Heh heh, I have an updated version of Rhanda in my campaign as well. Jon Knightrazor had something of a crush on her during his stint in Clarion...
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

Hey, she deserved better than being electrostunned into senselessness...and the Beyond the Frontier series wasn't it.

Gods damn it, that reminds me.

    Forgot the anti-shock implant.

"You're everything that's base in humanity," Cochrane continued. "Drawing up strict, senseless rules for the sole reason of putting you at the top and excluding anyone you say doesn't belong or fit in, for no other reason than just because you say so."
