CleanCutRogue August 13, 2007 - 8:45am | I'll add this, that's easy. But also, there is an option in your user profile for aggressive notification of new unread messages. You can (if you want) turn on this option. It will result in a link at the top of EVERY page you visit (right above the title of the page) stating "You have 3 new messages" and links to your inbox. I'll add the number of new messages as you've requested. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

CleanCutRogue August 14, 2007 - 7:34am | Yeah but the blinking only works on Firefox and Netscape. IE doesn't support that effect for some reason without a bunch of client-side java I'm not willing to supply. Most of us are using FF anywho :-P I like how the message indicator blinks. Corjay (not verified) August 14, 2007 - 12:41pm | Why would it take all that? It seems to me is all you need is to use the "=blink" function for ie in the style sheet. Is it in getting it to register new messages that would take all the client-side java in ie? |
CleanCutRogue August 14, 2007 - 6:20pm | Nope... it's just one of the many thing that Firefox does that IE doesn't. In the style sheet, I am currently using the text-decoration:blink property. IE doesn't do it. See this: Why would it take all that? It seems to me is all you need is to use the "=blink" function for ie in the style sheet.
