Status: Unresolved

Page reload after post should take you to the new post

    Issue Number:
    200
    Severity:
    Minor
    Description:
When there is less than one page of replies to a forum topic the page reload after posting a reply takes you to the new post.  However, when there is more than one page of replies, it just takes you back to the first page of the topic.  (At least that is what is happening in the project forums.)  It should take you the new post on the last page, not the beginning of the thread.

If you change your comment settings (in reverse of what you have) it might work better for you.
Don't be shy, give it a try.

I have, and would prefer oldest at top, taken directly to newest post with a #label href.

I'm with aramis on this one.  I haven't said anything about it because I haven't been very active on the site recently, but oldest-first is very much the standard.  I'm sure Bill will deal with this little gremlin soon.
