SmootRK March 17, 2008 - 7:16am | I will give myself a failing grade. But, like CleanCut Bill, I have had numerous life-changes over the past year making this kind of extra-cirricular writing a little tougher to work on... that and the tragic loss of my laptop due to a crash-landing onto hard tile (with much material still on harddrive waiting for retrieval). The laptop won't be replaced quickly due to budgetary considerations, and thus my ability to type away at work is severely limited. I try to keep tabs on stuff, and post when I can, but I feel that I am neglecting this project too much. So I am requesting someone else take charge of this project. I would still make efforts to contribute and to offer commentary on the work, and I would very much like to see a workable rule-set for fantasy campaigns using the Star Frontiers rules model. If someone wants the lead, then I will tell Bill to transfer the manager role. <insert witty comment here> |
Corjay (not verified) March 17, 2008 - 7:24am | You can actually transfer the manager role yourself in the Front Page editor. I have too strong opinions about how things should be done for a project like this. I would prefer someone else as manager to keep me in check, so I won't be offering myself for manager. And if no one steps up, don't worry too much about it. I'll still offer my ideas when I get them and you can always get back to it later when these issues clear up for you. |
