you, this has been the blessing of blessings in my use of the site. I
can't express in the right words how useful this thing has been for me. Where do you turn this on. I've never seen what you are talking about.Ad Astra Per Ardua! March 20, 2008 - 1:17am | 1. Put the "Links" and "Feedback" links on the site's Front
Page, taking them off of the tab navigation menu. They are merely
introductory page items. Why? Is anyone complaining about them being on the site's header strip of tabs? Has a single person on this site been confused or turned away because the tabs for sharing links and providing feedbacks are at the top of the page? If so, please tell me. 2. Set yourself up to receive emails when someone posts in the Feedback section, as it's the only place that non-members can contact you from. Either that, or make a link available for them to contact you directly by email. Huh? The Feedback section is for signing a site-wide guestbook or for sending me an email... in both cases, I get an email. Also, if you go to my profile there is a link in the top that says "Contact" -- which sends me an email. Further, I publish my email address in every issue of the StarFrontiersman. What are you suggesting that I've not already provided? 3. Assign some moderators to help people with any site issues they have and to keep the peace. There are already several folks who seem to answer questions in general forums in my stead. I like that, but what special "Moderator" features are you suggesting I give people? So far, there has really only been one or two people I've had to do anything about, and each time it was resolved just by emails between me and them. I already have a feature for individual project managers to moderate their own forums to a certain extent. But the general forums I handle just fine. How would it simplify the site to have more people have authority in the general forums? Has anyone complained about this? Is the site more complex because I'm the only one who can moderate a forum? 4. Make the drop down menus menu as the default menu option. I'm telling you, this has been the blessing of blessings in my use of the site. I can't express in the right words how useful this thing has been for me. I can do this. Excellent idea. 5. When a new game is made for the Gameroom, let it send a message to all members the same way the Projects section does. I didn't even realize we had all those games going in the Gameroom. Hm. If I do that, people will also want the ability to turn that feature off like they did for the new Project announcements... I'll give this thought. In general, it's a good idea. Again, I'm not sure how this "Simplifies" the site. Propably should have been its own feature-request issue. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

introductory page items. No one's complaining about any one specific item. But there has been recent complaint about the complexity of the site and it's overwhelming nature. I'm just trying to suggest an interface that doesn't bombard them on every page. Why? Is anyone complaining about them being on the site's header strip of tabs? As for the "contact" in your profile, new people who come to the site don't know that CleanCutRogue or Bill Logan is the site administrator or that CleanCutRogue is Bill Logan.Huh? I think if there were one other responsible person (I'm not responsible enough, so don't think I'm volunteering myself) that can help in this area, I think inappropriate comments can be taken care of speedily when you're too busy to check in. You really don't need to do everything yourself. The less you have to do, the more time you'll have to do what you want or need to do.There are already several folks who seem to answer questions in general forums in my stead. we had all those games going in the Gameroom. It probably should be it's own issue. I'll open a new issue for it. It simplifies in the sense that it would be convenient. It also helps the games be more popular. Instead of an email, you can just make new games appear on the What's New page.Hm. If I do that, people will also want the ability to turn that feature off like they did for the new Project announcements... I'll give this thought. In general, it's a good idea.
