IMCE does not allow uploads even though you have the proper extension. could be a access issue.
ERROR : Only images with .jpg, .gif, and .png extensions are allowed.

It works fine for me... The above image is a .jpg file. No errors. Can you explain what you can't do? It seems to work fine for me... or were you trying to upload something else somewhere else? HELP! Dralasites should be able to be carried in a bucket. |

not able to upload a .png edit'd with GIMP. but other PNG's work. wery wery strange. Check your settings and such... I think your gimp files aren't really png files despite being named that. I found that with your ocs logo. You had the logo named as a png file but it was graphically a bitmap file. Some software can view files named that way (internet explorer and firefox included) because those programs autodetect the format from the headers within the file instead of assuming the filename is sufficient to classify it. I think the filters and stuff we have available to us through Drupal are limited in that they are doing type checking based on file extension, then passing the file to the iMCE program that doesn't know what to do with it because it's checking the type through file headers.
