 January 15, 2008 - 5:00pm | Ok punks... Who would like to play a game of Knight Hawks - PBEM? This is the boardgame in the Knight Hawk game set. The rules are as stated, with one house rule (so far) Well, two house rules... The Risk Jumping needs to be always in there (see below). And I would like to play with Advanced rules, no skills at all times. Or maybe with skills at all times. We can discuss that. I just don't want to play with the basic rules - changing the records and stuff would be a pain. Risk Jumping: The original RJ rule is very harsh. Losing a whole fleet for blowing a roll is out of control. I don't want to win, or lose, like that. So Gilbert (kudos to him) worked out an alternative in chat, and I think it is a good one: If you fail any RJ roll, you go to the next system (the one that you wanted) and are moved at random 1-3 boxes past the system. In addition, you are off the map (lost) for 1-3 days. You cannot move on the day that you come back. I would like 4 players, ideally. We can determine sides randomly... Each post will be one phase. Hopefully we can post 3 times per week, or more. But I would like to see 3 times per week. When fleet battles occur, then each post will be one phase of the fleet battle. SIGN UP FOR THE WAR!!!! |

Players on how the game is played. as for more players there is no time to play setup. it is play when we can. |

January 29, 2008 - 5:42pm | Sounds good. I'm anything but new when it comes to the cannon rules. I used to play both sides of the SSW game when I was a kid. In fact, right now I'm slowing working on a computer program to manage the logistics of the campaign and hopefully expand that out into the combat mechanics as well. Ad Astra Per Ardua!
