Using DEX is up for debate though, I know the expanded game allows this and although I personally disagree with it I still allow for it in the expanded game. PS is merely how much damage a character will inflict with an open handed attack. If your PS is 3, that's what you inflict with each hit. If we incorporate this into Basic, my opinion is it should simply be left that way. |

In reality, I'd expect it's a combination, but STR + DEX / 2 is not 'basic'..... PS seems simple enough, although slow to take someone down (Military PSA gets bonus would be fine by me) |
Corjay (not verified) December 5, 2007 - 11:39pm | Actually, I think the point to the STR or DEX option for PS was that a person can use their hands using brute strength or using superior muscle control for quicker and more precise attacks. It's the difference between the barbarian and the martial artist. You use whichever one you're better at. |
