Any thoughts on making the documents section multi-level in order to track ships by ruleset used?

Canon
Shadow Shack House Rules

I can show you when I catch you in chat.

Also, I'd like to see some examples of building ships using the rulesets.
When Bill and I played KH the other day, a UPF destroyer is *exactly* the same as a Sathar destroyer...almost boring with no real strategy except pounding the tar out of each-other.

I'll send you something tonight that might be interesting, and SS has a lot of different ship designs....

The main build question is how to do the ADF/MR/Space limitation stuff -- the MHS rules in "canon" are for civilian ships only.

 * The 'swapping out' rules

 * KH:INT modified the MHS rules to add efficiency ratings to ships, which brought the MHS system to Warships (although I'd suggest efficiency ratings for engines as opposed to ship classes, being able to purchase souped up engines for extra $$$ during design time.) Going with engines might not create exactly canon ships, but has a little more determinism for design.

 * Just use weapon / defense space, similar to 'Frontiers of Design' (although not enough space listed in Frontiers of Design....)

I've experimented a bit with using Wep/Def only M3 requirements, with a bit of a Wep/Def Power use experimentation. Ok for weapon design, but doesn't provide any guidance for how much other stuff can fit in a ship. (could probably come up with something rough to say how much total space is available, but....)

Guess I need to look at the MHS rules from KH:INT again.... Available from http://www.starfrontiers.org/downloadables.asp
(http://arsponline.org/TheFrontier/download/RobsKH_FutureShadow.zip),
don't know if viewable anywhere on line....
