Kilikit goes for a grappling maneuver on Gramic but misses with an 82.

Woot attempts to go into battle rage but doesn't, on the other hand the sonic sword connects nicely with an 06, for 40 points of damage.

Geunther's automatic rifle snaps up and chatters off into the human, who catches the full burst with an 18 to the gut for 38 points of damage (adjusted for defenses to 19).

The raiders react. The yaz leader barks out to the vrusk "Gramic, grab that thing and get outa here!" His laser pistol points toward Gloob, figuring to take out the initiator of this tussle. One hits with a 19 for 19 points...which is easily deflected by the activated albedo screen.

Konchino drops his gyrojet pistol to the floor and goes toe to toe with Woot by activating an electric sword. The coppery tube crackles to life as it arcs through the air, connecting with a 27. Woot rolls a 23, so he isn't affected by the stun setting.

Geiger recoils from Geunther's attack and pivots around to shove the muzzle of his laser pistol towards Geunther. A pair of beams scorch the air as they reach out to Geunther, both narrowly missing.

Gramic snatches the data cube from the banks and bolts for the SE door, audibly clicking off something in his native tongue that sounds like obvious cursing. Several of you have also noticed that the north door has now automatically closed, as the strangled guard that dropped to the floor never passed through. "Fools!" The yaz screams. "We mighta let you live. Now your fates are sealed!"

Gramic is at the SW door and K'liKit is hot on his abdomen. (Jet Boots is a decent resolution but a bit mathematical...I prefer to simply make STA checks every turn after the first three turns with a consecutive -5m/turn penalty for each missed check. Eventually the running character is going to get winded attempting to retian a top speed).

Guenther unloads the remainder of his magazine into Geiger's torso, causing 20 points of damage (halved by the armor to 10).

Woot lashes out again, rolling an 03 to go into battle rage! Whiney makes another solid hit for 29 points of damage and Konchinho doubles back in severe pain from the hit.

Gloob swings the sonic stunner around and nails Konchinho with a 17, and the dral drops to the floor with shallow breathing.

The raiders react. Gramic makes it out the door but K'liKit gets caught up by the auto-closing door. He curses as the brief time spent reopening it gives Gramic a slight edge in distance. Konchinho's body inflates and deflates with irregularity, unconcious and having seen better days. Geiger swoops around Geunther's empty rifle and makes it to the west door. Geiger gives Guenther a pair of blasts to duck, as both soar just over his head. The yazirian leaps over the desk and is on Geiger's heels, taking shots at Woot with his laser pistol. "Bite on this for a while!" he growls as the shots narrowly miss Woot's skull. 

Beren Tiu replies to the chronocom call, but you have difficulty hearing it over the firefight. You hear the basic order of detain or destroy, and to obtainthe data cube at all costs. Current map and positions:

Geiger tails Guenther out the door, once outside he takes a pair of laser shots at him. Guenther winces at the point blank opportunity while fidgeting his bulletclip into the rifle, and is instantly relieved afterhearing Geiger's weapon make a much more friendly click. Geiger realizes that his pistol is also empty, and reaches for a powerclip as the emtpy is ejected.

Gloob takes a sonic stunner shot at the yazirian nd hits, but the yaz passes his STA check.

Woot pastes a tangler at Gramic, hitting him dead on. Sadly Gramic passes his RS check and avoids the detonation.

The raiders react. Geiger is reloading, the yazirian discards his empty pistol and charges Gloob with a sonic blade, hitting for 17 points. Gramic cracks Woot in the jaw with his pistol butt for 4 points of damage as he bolts by, making it to the west door.

Klikit is now inthe corridor with Woot and sees Gramic at the far end.

K'liKit bolts after Gramic, passing Woot as he unloads a pair of 5SEU blasts at the fleeing bug. One of the shots hitswith a 20, but Woot curses out loud as the beam is deflected off the assailant's albedo screen. Gramic makes it out the door and takes a sharp right, heading toward the street.

Guenther drops the cocking mechanism on his freshly loaded rifle, sending the bolt home. He raises the rifle and cuts loose with another burst at Geiger and gets him good with an 11, for 41 points (halved to 20 by the skeinsuit). Geiger pushes past him, firing a pair of blasts over his shoulder as he runs toward the street. Both miss, although one comes close enough that Guenther feels the searing heat from the passing beam!

Gloob takes a point blank attempt with the sonic stunner but misses the meleeing monkey. The yaz bolts off towards the SE door, slashing with the sonic blade as he departs...he misses as well.

Beren Tiu responds to the chronocom call placed earlier, saying Star Law has been alerted. He asks for an update, although some of you don't hear most of the conversation due to weapon firing (K'liKit has heard the entire response, Gloob and Woot heard parts of it, Guenther's burst drowned it out on his end). However, being the only one outside at the moment, Guenther saw Gramic dash around the corner just ahead of Geiger. He also hears the whine of hoverfans igniting, so he has the approximate position of a waiting hovercar.
