Corjay (not verified) August 2, 2007 - 6:34pm | Comment uses the signature and post a new post. I think I found a bug. |
CleanCutRogue August 2, 2007 - 6:33pm | Yeah - you can respond to your own posts. You can do that in any forums really... That should work fine. Edited post 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

Corjay (not verified) August 2, 2007 - 6:36pm | Shouldn't the signature show up outside of the post? All it does at the moment is that it gets in my way when I want to post. |
Corjay (not verified) August 2, 2007 - 6:40pm | Here's definitely a bug. "Comment" or "reply" (as it's now named) puts the reply all the way to the end, but "Reply to Post" causes it to reply to the main post up from there, |

I have opinions, and for each one a new a**hole speaks up.
Hm... it's a Drupal thing... I changed the layout so it's a flat expanded list showing oldest content first. That makes it flow like a conversation. Try it out now... is it better? I can change the text "COMMENT" in the original post to "REPLY" to make it consistent. Alternatively, I can adjust things so that the only way to reply is to click the "Reply to Post" button at the top of the page, that way the hierarchy thing is avoided altogether. What do ya think? Or is it better this way as I've adjusted it? 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

Corjay (not verified) August 2, 2007 - 6:49pm | Looks like it works now. |
Corjay (not verified) August 2, 2007 - 6:51pm | This kind of discourages signatures, though, because I'm just going to delete my sig from my profile so that I don't have to deal with it every time I post. |
CleanCutRogue August 2, 2007 - 6:52pm | I don't like the signature element... it's annoying the way it sticks it in your post and gets in your way. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

You're right. I did the same thing. If people are going to delete it then it just needs some work. I'll try to get it out of the editor window and append it instead to the bottom of the messagee automatically. I'm generating a punchlist of issues to hammer out, and that's at the top of it. 3. Corjay (not verified) August 2, 2007 - 6:53pm | Exactly, though I think I came up with a solution for myself. |
