Anonymous October 2, 2007 - 6:23am | I'm starting a thread to help with the home run numba sevan issue soon to be on magazine racks in every port this side of Zebulon. Bill, can you give us what your readers liked? For me you mentioned the "DON’T TANGO WITH THE TANGLER." so I might work on expanding another type of weapon/defense. Here are some examples I came up with.

Will October 8, 2007 - 7:12am | If you're still taking submissions, I'd like to submit a short story. Any guidelines? "You're everything that's base in humanity," Cochrane continued. Kinda like a "draft" of an adventure. for example see : Issue #2 Computers, Yazirians, and Guns, Oh My!Adventure! Rogue Planet..............................................22 Waylaid.....................................................22 Crom’s Return............................................23 |
CleanCutRogue October 8, 2007 - 9:11am | I'll answer dat... If you're still taking submissions, I'd like to submit a short story. Any guidelines? nope. :-) No, really - I don't normally provide much in the way of guidelines. I prefer the submissions in Word (.doc) or even rich text (.rtf) format, though I have accepted them in nearly all formats. Don't worry about layout, I'll do that (that's the part I enjoy... formatting/layout/makin stuff pretty). If you have any illustration needs, post 'em here in the forums, but please artists: don't post your pic publicly until after the issue is out (gotta give folks some reason to download the issue). I don't specifically request submissions because I like it when people let their own creativity and game experiences dicate what they write/submit. The only request is to try to make your submission relevant to Star Frontiers Alpha Dawn (the only version of the game played by nearly all players - some add KH, very few add ZG) and make it family-friendly (no outright sexual/lude writing - though slight inuendos are fine and fun; and violence should have some common-sense limits placed on it to reach the largest amount of readers). That's it. Submissions can take any form - from poetry to prose, from equipment lists to d100 tables of random stuff, from illustrations to campaign sitting summaries, from character stats to robots, from adventures to KH tactical scenarios... you get the idea. Anything goes really. This isn't my magazine - so I tend not to restrict people's creativity. You create it and I'll put it all together. Sound good? 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time. |
