Grobber Jaloub started his career as an enforcer for Cassidine Developement Corporation and enjoyed working for them, right up until the point that he was picked over for the Alcazzar Mission. He held quite a grudge over that one, and eventually resigned. He held a few odd jobs working security along the way, but eventually signed up for the Frontier's Star Fighter Corps with the promise of excitement and a steady paycheck, not to mention some top notch training.

He enrolled into the pilot program and was soon certified after the rigorous 200 day flight school and finals week, where he had to test his mettle against simulated craft and other classmates alike. Initially he didn't score well enough for a command position, but overall his class did extremely well and was selected to replace the recently transferred pilots of the 52nd SFC Tactical Fighter Squadron, a.k.a. the "Firebird Squadron". He flew as a wingman for the first tour of duty. However, as he gained combat experience along with volunteer work in other off duty assignments, he was eventually awarded a Flight Leader position.

He served quite well for the remainder of his tours, acquiring several medals of recognition and other awards along the way. His stint with the SFC netted him the abilities to helm any craft up to a small capital ship or freight hauler, not to mention the mastery of various fast and lethal fighter craft he jockeyed during his service. Once his term of service ended he opted to muster out after achieving the rank of Lieutenant. The SFC treated him well, but now he had the itch for the free life of a spacer. He made a lot of friends along the way (and a few enemies too, after all the 52nd was quite publicized) but was drawn to the mystique of an indepenent freight hauler he met early in his career, a fellow who had once been a SFC pilot before leaping off into the void on his own.

Somehow, somewhere, he just had to experience the romantic adventure of operating his own craft and exploring the Frontier, living by his own rules. Now only if he could convince a few of his SFC friends to accompany him along the doubt once he has a ship a reliable crew could be hard to find. At least his former astro-gunner, a stocky female yazirian named San-Dinah, agreed with his plan of action...she resigned with him to embark on this mutual dream.

After chasing this fruitless dream for about a year, he (and San-Dinah) re-enlisted into the SFC once more. After a reinitiation tour he was reassigned into the 52nd and eventually earned the rank of Sqaudron Leader, and has been leading various other SFC squadrons ever since.

Grobber is a pregenerated character from SF:4 "Mission to Alcazzar" (see page 18). I used him as an NPC when I hosted my Star Fighter Corps campaign, both in live play and the recent play by post forum game. He acquired the call sign "Ice" from the online game.

Additional info: Grobber's battle rage score is 25% (any chance of making a drop down for the racial abilities?), and is a LVL:3 pilot (another request, we could use some drop downs for KH skills)
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

The character generator is going to get an overhaul when w00t and I have the time to spend on it... for now I'll see if I can make editors for a few of the upgradable racial abilities...
