May 28, 2021 - 4:38am | I suppose if I was in prison I would simply play Traveller as wadding up wet toilet papper to make a cube is the easiest die to make. A 2d6 system would be easy enough to fudge together for fantasy as well. The TSR box sets proved that you dont need a lot of rules to run a fun game ie B/X and Star Frontiers I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

I deleted my "let's wait and see" letter about them . Once they invoked a comparison of the sh!t storm they started to the Satanic panic of the 80's I was done. As a Christian I get to deal with the lingering bs of the "satanic panic" even just a few years ago I told someone I write for an RPG magazine and their response was "isn't that evil". Enough already, and these whahoos have to bring that up again as a defense of their boneheaded ness? Then try to pretend they didn't cause the sh!t storm they brought down on their own heads? I just read an evenly reported article on the anatomy of the melt down i.e. it did not have biased tone, about TSR (top secret NWO) distancing itself from TSR (the dumpster fire) and that article reported that LaNasa (at the dumpster fire) ran in an election just recently and that his opponent turned up a video (that has now been deleted) of LaNasa making two employees wrestle in a tub of grits for the title of "head shop girl" at his tatoo parlor. Needless to say LaNasa didn't win. I've not confirmed this as I dont want to watch something as degrading at that but I find that bit of news very troubling and consistent with the worst behavior I've heard reported from him during this recent cluster screw up they've had. July 2, 2021 - 9:12pm | I saw a few tidbits mentioned of LaNasa's run for office on several facebook groups. He got kicked/banned from at least one of the groups for trolling along with chirping at mods & admins (the latter being the most efficient way to get kicked, not to mention the former is always a good way as well). IIRC he either owns or runs a gaming hobby shop that is affiliated with the new relaunch of TSR, but he isn't helping EGG Jr (regardless of which side you stand on with Jr's antics). Needless to say these few bits & pieces I've been picking up have not helped my outlook on a new Star Frontiers game. |

I've followed some of the new TSR drama by watching the YouTube channel Clownfish TV, such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jodtu9Z2_8Y I suspect that a certain gaming company on the coast is behind some of this canceling effort. But that's all I will say about that for now. I wish to keep politics and current day social controversies out of gaming. Anyway, I hope to reengage here and by writing some stories for the magazine.
