What if there was a pyschic entity that passed from mentalism sensitive individual to individual for centuries. could be a sathar, could be a core 4, could be an optional race from Dragon, Sfman or FE But the one constant is the mentalism ie psychic ability and the entity passes on to continue living and fulfill a centuries long mission. possibly even tied to the tetrarch or something eles. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

You had to use the "T" word: Tetrarch. So working in another comment by you if the tetrarchs uplifted the Phantom from Isle of Dread to be the yazirian and their thing was uplift of primitive species then I could easily see a Tetrarch entity bobbing along for thoughsands of years and that it happened to be on Volturnus for the Day of Doom and that it was the architec of the plan to uplift 3 volturnian species as well as had a secret hand in the mechanons. As a matter of fact the eorna with the "entity" was on one of the eorna spaceships that went out into the black and accidently ran into the sathar and accidnetly gave them the road back to Volturnus. this eorna simply appeared on Volturnus and passed himself off as one of the survivors. The Mystery is that the evidence actually exist to prove this eorna left Volturnus and no evidence exists of the ship coming back. Another eorna discovered the secret, had proof but suddenly commited suicide. He may have sent the evidence off planet. The entity has survived in one eorna using their hibernation sleep chambers for 900 years and this has allowed him to oversee the program on Volturnus all this time in the person of one eorna individual. He has enjoyed being able to over see no less then 4 uplift projects without changing host. He is very psychically dangerous- he made an otherwise sane eorna commit suicide which got written off since the eorna have a problem with a high rate of mental instability among their population that has participated in the 900 project to uplift the 3 primitive species via hibernation sleep and awak periods.
