JCab747 June 13, 2018 - 7:36pm | "Yan-Soon began his military career in the Truane's Star government, starting off as an enlisted soldier and eventually graduating from officer training school and recieving a small command.' I do like this character and some of the alternative background you've posted so far. I have yet to use him, but he makes a very good enemy for characters in a long campaign. Joe Cabadas |
Shadow Shack June 16, 2018 - 9:06pm | Thanks, my entire campaign is hinged on this upstart. ;) Ask away if you need anything. |
JCab747 June 18, 2018 - 9:21pm | "Yan-Soon began his military career in the Truane's Star government, starting off as an enlisted soldier and eventually graduating from officer training school and recieving a small command. "He served briefly under Lieutenant Colonel Louis V. Jameson, laying down the tactics for Jameson's final mission before the Colonel's retirement of 22 years service." This makes me think that Yan-Soon was among the nameless Truane's Star officials that sold out the first Volturnus expedition to the Star Devil. Nice! Joe Cabadas |
Shadow Shack June 20, 2018 - 10:34pm | This makes me think that Yan-Soon was among the nameless Truane's Star officials that sold out the first Volturnus expedition to the Star Devil. Nice! Interesting take. Yan-Soon is definitely all about conquest, although his early years could have just as easily gone this route too. |
jedion357 June 21, 2018 - 3:42pm | Isnt Yan Soon a vrusk? And in the Volturnus Connection article was not the head of MINER a vrusk who faked his death and became the Star Devil? Interesting coincidence. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
Shadow Shack June 22, 2018 - 2:21am | Yan-Soon Shea-Dow is a yaz, rumored to be a clan-cousin to Streel's Hilo Headow (who naturally denies the rumor outright). You might be thinking of his right hand man Lord Q'orter-Mein (formerly Q'ortarmas), the cybernetically enhanced/resurrected vruskan fighter jockey. |
