May 2, 2017 - 6:42pm | The first one is always a teaser. Note how just like the Force Awakens teaser, it starts out with somber music and a slow pan of the secenery with the sudden pop-up of a lead character...this time it's Rey instead of Finn. Also note Kylo's smashed helmet that echos Vader's burnt helmet from the FA trailer. I liked Rey's jedi-training throwback to ESB where she is levitating rubble, much like Yoda had Luke doing with rocks on Dagobah. It looks like Phasma is back (the scene following the exploding hangar) and the fleet battle looks intense. I was stunned by "It's time for the Jedi to end" followed by the familiar SW logo in sith-red instead of traditional yellow. |
